Description

The ITIL® Product (Version 5) eLearning course is one of the first advanced modules in the new ITIL (Version 5) certification scheme. It provides guidance for organizations involved in the creation and continual improvement of digital products across the ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle.

Exam Delivery

To receive your official PeopleCert Exam Voucher, please complete the “Voucher Request” form located inside this eLearning course.
Once you submit your details, our team will manually order your Exam Voucher Code from PeopleCert.
You will receive your Exam Voucher Code via email from passport@peoplecert.org within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, during Hong Kong official working hours, excluding HK public holidays).
Please check your SPAM/Junk folder and ensure you provided a valid email address if you haven’t received the email within this timeframe.
The Exam Voucher Code is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Refunds are not available after exam voucher is issued.

How long will I have access to the eLearning?

You’ll have 12 months of access to the eLearning platform from the date of activation.

When will I get access to the eLearning content?

This is a pre-order. eLearning content will be available from 19 March 2026. You will receive an email notification when access is enabled.

How do I take the exam?

This eLearning package includes an official exam voucher that allows you to schedule and take your online proctored exam at a time that suits you.

How is the exam conducted?

The official PeopleCert ITIL® Product (Version 5) exam is:
  • Online proctored (available anytime, anywhere)
  • 40 multiple-choice questions
  • 90 minutes (non-native English speakers receive an extra 25%, i.e. 113 minutes)
  • Closed-book
  • Passing score: TBC

What is the prerequisite for this course?

ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) or ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required. Candidates must also complete accredited training from an ATO or via accredited eLearning before sitting the exam. If you don't have a Foundation certification yet, you can take the ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) course or, if you already hold ITIL 4 Foundation, you can proceed directly.

 Will I receive a certificate?

Yes! Upon passing the exam, you will receive an official ITIL® Product (Version 5) certificate issued by PeopleCert.

Does the ITIL® Product certification expire?

All PeopleCert Global Best Practice certifications need to be renewed after 3 years. You can renew by passing any ITIL® exam (which extends all ITIL certifications for three years) or by collecting CPD points through PeopleCert Plus Membership.

Can I upgrade to the live instructor-led version later?

Yes! You can upgrade to the Live Instructor-Led Certification Training anytime by paying the difference in course fees (before your exam voucher is issued).
