What Is Take2?

Taking a certification exam involves a significant investment in your time, energy, and money. The Take2 re-sit option gives you peace of mind knowing that if you don't pass on your first attempt, you'll get another chance — without paying for a full new exam voucher.

Take2 is available for all PeopleCert certification exams, including ITIL®, PRINCE2®, MSP®, DevOps, and more. At just $75 USD through AGILEPM HUB — compared to $103 when purchased directly from PeopleCert — it is a low-cost add-on that can be included when you purchase your exam voucher.

Why Add Take2?

Protect your investment

Certification training and exam vouchers represent a significant financial commitment. Take2 ensures one tough exam day doesn't set you back to square one.

Reduce exam pressure

Knowing you have a backup attempt allows you to approach the exam with more confidence and less anxiety.

Save $28 compared to buying direct

Add Take2 through AGILEPM HUB for just $75 USD. The same option purchased directly from PeopleCert costs $103 — that's a 27% saving.

6-month validity

If you need to use your re-sit, you have a full 6 months from your initial exam date to schedule and complete it — plenty of time to review and come back stronger.

How to Purchase Take2 Through AGILEPM HUB

Important: Take2 must be added before you submit your voucher request form. Once your voucher has been purchased and issued, Take2 cannot be added retrospectively through AGILEPM HUB.

Here's how it works:

Step 1 — Tell us when enrolling

When you enrol in any of our ITIL®, PRINCE2®, or other PeopleCert certification courses, simply let us know you'd like to add the Take2 re-sit option.

Step 2 — We include it in your voucher request

We add Take2 to your exam voucher before submitting the order to PeopleCert. This ensures it is linked to your exam from the start.

Step 3 — Sit your exam with confidence

Take your exam knowing that if you don't pass, a re-sit voucher will be sent to you automatically via email.

Step 4 — Schedule your re-sit (if needed)

If you don't pass, you'll receive an email from PeopleCert with instructions to schedule your second attempt at your convenience — anytime within 6 months of your first exam.

What If I Already Have My Voucher?

If your exam voucher has already been purchased through AGILEPM HUB and you didn't include Take2 at that time, you have two options depending on your situation:

  • Exam not yet scheduled → You can purchase a PeopleCert Plus membership, which includes Take2 for every exam you schedule throughout the year.
  • Exam already scheduled → If your exam session is already booked, your only option is to add Take2 directly through your PeopleCert account. You can do this from the Overview tab up to 15 minutes before your exam session starts.

How Does Take2 Work?

  • Purchase Timing - Take2 can only be purchased before you take your exam. When ordering through AGILEPM HUB, it must be included before we submit your voucher request to PeopleCert.
  • Eligibility and Use - If you purchased Take2 and did not pass your exam, you will receive an email from PeopleCert with a link to schedule your re-sit at a time that suits you.
  • Scheduling and Validity - Your Take2 re-sit is valid for 6 months from your initial exam date. You must schedule and complete your re-sit within that 6-month window. Take2 is exam-specific — it can only be used for the same exam you originally purchased.
  • Restrictions -Take2 is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. If you miss your Take2 exam session, the voucher cannot be used again. Take2 cannot be purchased after a failed exam.

Already Included in PeopleCert Plus Membership

If you're a PeopleCert Plus member, Take2 is already included for every exam you schedule throughout the year — at no extra cost. A PeopleCert Plus membership also gives you access to the PeopleCert Library, Official Mock Exams, and community features.

We can arrange a PeopleCert Plus membership for you. If you're planning to take multiple exams over the coming year, the membership often works out more cost-effective than adding Take2 individually each time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy Take2 after I've already failed my exam?

No. Take2 must be purchased before your first exam attempt. It cannot be added after a failed result.

How much does Take2 cost?

Take2 costs $75 USD when purchased through AGILEPM HUB. If you buy the same option directly from PeopleCert, it costs $103 — so you save $28 by adding it through us when you enrol.

Does Take2 cover a different exam than the one I originally booked?

No. Take2 is exam-specific. It can only be used for the same certification exam you originally purchased. For example, if you bought Take2 with an ITIL Foundation (Version 5) exam, you cannot use it for an ITIL Experience exam.

What happens if I pass my exam on the first attempt?

The Take2 option simply expires. There is no refund for unused Take2 vouchers — it functions as an insurance policy for your exam attempt.

How long do I have to use my Take2 re-sit?

You have 6 months from the date of your original exam to schedule and complete your re-sit.

Can I transfer my Take2 to someone else?

No. Take2 is non-transferable and tied to the specific candidate and exam for which it was purchased.

Is Take2 available for all certifications?

Take2 is available for all PeopleCert certification exams, including ITIL® and PRINCE2®.

What if I miss my Take2 exam session?

If you miss your scheduled Take2 re-sit, the voucher cannot be used again. Treat your re-sit scheduling with the same commitment as your first attempt.
