The ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) Bridge course is designed exclusively for professionals who already hold ITIL 4 Foundation and want to transition to ITIL® (Version 5).


This course focuses on:

This is a bridge (delta) course and includes the official PeopleCert Bridge exam voucher.

ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) and ITIL 4

ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) builds on ITIL 4 and reflects how organizations operate today.

 • ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) is the new entry point for professionals starting their ITIL journey

Exam Delivery

To receive your official PeopleCert Exam Voucher, please complete the “Voucher Request” form located inside this eLearning course.
Once you submit your details, our team will manually order your Exam Voucher Code from PeopleCert.
You will receive your Exam Voucher Code via email from passport@peoplecert.org within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, during Hong Kong official working hours, excluding HK public holidays).
Please check your SPAM/Junk folder and ensure you provided a valid email address if you haven’t received the email within this timeframe.
The Exam Voucher Code is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Refunds are not available after exam voucher is issued.

No. ITIL 4 Foundation remains valid. This is an optional upgrade.

Do I need ITIL 4 to enroll?

Yes. ITIL 4 Foundation is required to take the Bridge exam.

Does this renew my certifications?

Yes. Passing any ITIL® (Version 5) certification renews your ITIL certifications for three years.

How do I take the exam?

This elearning package includes an official exam voucher that allows you to schedule and take your online proctored exam at a time that suits you.

How is the exam conducted?

The official PeopleCert ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) Bridge exam is:
  • Online proctored (available anytime, anywhere)
  • 20 multiple-choice questions
  • 30 minutes (non-native English speakers receive an extra 15 minutes)
  • Closed-book
  • Passing score: 13/20 (65%)

 Will I receive a certificate?

Yes! Upon passing the exam, you will receive an official ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) certificate issued by PeopleCert.

Can I upgrade to the live instructor-led version later?

Yes! You can upgrade to the Live Instructor-Led Certification Training anytime by paying the difference in course fees (before your exam voucher is issued).
